Engineers here are forward deployed: they embed inside real operations, integrate existing systems and signals, model the operational ontology, and ship deployed software leadership runs on. NBR is a small, AI-native team working with data centers and manufacturers across Singapore and Vietnam, and runs its own operation on MIDAS every day.
Why we exist.
AI models get cheaper and more capable every month — but a model can't run a factory. What's scarce is the live map of how an operation actually works: its assets, projects, sites, owners, systems, signals, and decisions. MIDAS is the system that map lives in — one ontology, many models on top.

Industrial operations are too specific for self-serve software, so we embed. You map a real operation with the people who own it, integrate the systems and signals already on site, model the operational ontology, ship the live operating picture, and turn what you learn in the field into reusable product. The system flags what needs attention; the people decide what to do.
Who you'll work with.
You'll build alongside operators who scaled a fiber-optics semiconductor company into a Broadcom acquisition, shipped data products that Fortune 500 brands ran their biggest decisions on, and delivered secure AI to the U.S. Department of War. NBR runs its own operation on MIDAS every day.
Open roles.
- Senior Founding Engineer. Own the core MIDAS platform — architect and own the system the whole company ships on, set technical direction, CTO-track with founding equity. Singapore, Vietnam, or remote in Southeast Asia.
- Forward Deployed Engineer. Embed at customer operations, integrate their systems, configure MIDAS, and stand up the operational ontology. Southeast-Asia-based with significant on-site work; Vietnamese and English required, Putonghua a plus.
- Computer Vision / ML Engineer. Build Production Intelligence: defect-detection and production-tracking models and edge inference for the factory floor. Remote in Southeast Asia, close to the floor.
